Jayne is Radio’s Newest Solution for Reaching Women

Jayne, or Jayne FM, is a 4 or 5 hour radio show that is geared towards  women, aged 25-54.  Jayne is the host of the show, and will play the music  of the radio station, but in between the songs, you will never hear radio  station 'jargon.' You will hear her talk about funny situations that she's been  in, emotional thoughts that you may have been afraid to discuss out in the open,  she'll give you factual information about things going on in the world.    Everything that Jayne discusses will be no longer than a minute or two at a  time, but it's all very compelling to listen to.  So compelling in fact,  that MEN like to listen to her too!  She gives them the inside skinny, on  what their wives and girlfriends are really thinking about!
 
Jayne also has callers that she puts on the air.  Once again, these  callers must be something special, if they're going to make it to the  airwaves.  They are most often, very funny or very heart gripping.   She will also run funny commercial intros that include conversations between her  and her boss, that she can't stand.  He is always forcing her to play the  'dreaded commercials!'
 
Jayne includes Knock knock jokes, Story songs, which are stories told over  the intros of music, that pertain to the lyric of the song, Jayne sings her own  jingles, and asks that you not make fun of her while she's doing it!
 
Jayne also has something called "benchmark pieces."  These are 60  pieces that air either within the show, or at other times of the day.  They  are all FUNNY bits!  They can have a sponsor attached to them as well,  which can bring in extra money for the radio station.  They're called,  'Cuppa Jayne,' 'Jayney Moment,' 'Calamity Jayne,' 'Jayne's Gossip Corner.'   and I'm in the process of working on "Jayne's On Hold!"
 
Jayne is on WJPT HD2, as well as CIFX in Canada.  Cuppa Jayne is on  CIFX and WJPT's terrestrial station.
